The Timeline

  • October 20th 2011: T.S. Eliot Prize for Poetry shortlist of 10 collections announced.

  • November 1st 2011: Shadowing Scheme launched. Download two poems from each collection at http://www.poetrybooks.co.uk/projects/15

  • December 15th 2011: Shadowing Scheme – deadline for entries and poll closes.

  • January 15th 2012: T.S. Eliot Prize Readings in the Royal Festival Hall.

  • January 16th 2012: Award Ceremony at the Wallace Collection, London, where the winner of the T. S. Eliot Prize and the student poll will be announced, as will the winning student.

Prizes

The winner will have their rationale published in emagazine; win a year’s subscription to both emagazine and the Poetry Book Society; win two tickets to both the T.S. Eliot Prize Readings and the Award Ceremony and a copy of all the shortlisted collections. Their school will receive a year’s education membership of the PBS.
