What Matters in English Teaching Conference

What do we want the secondary English curriculum to be like? What are the pressures on the subject and on English departments? What should we be arguing for?

This day will be looking at key principles and values and ways to connect them to practical solutions. 

A mix of keynote talks, workshops, performance and discussion with academics, writers, teachers, students and practitioners.
