Adobe Premiere: Skills for Teachers and Their Students

Why should you attend?

You may have access to Premiere but little support in making the most of it. This course is designed to build your own skills and confidence to enhance your teaching of video projects such as credit sequences, TV drama, music video, trailers and documentary, whether for coursework or to support analytical and other learning activities. The course tutor is also an experienced Media teacher, with a clear understanding of what you and your students need. This will be a day of hands-on practice in EMC’s Mac suite. Course numbers will be limited to ensure good levels of support.

What will the course cover?

  • The basics of Premiere, including:
    • ideas for activities to build student skills
    • shooting some footage
    • capturing to export
    • using found material for editing activities
    • editing sound and titles
    • applying transitions and effects.

NB. This is a repeat of the December 2015 course.
