A note on the text

This Video PDF download edition of Studying ‘The Great Gatsby’ is an edited version of the print and DVD resource published by the English and Media Centre in 2009. In addition to minor changes, the section on literary context has not been included due to copyright restrictions, while the length of the critical extracts on the ending of the novel has been reduced.

I purchased The Great Gatsby Study Guide about 2 years ago and have found it a fabulous resource to use with my AS Lit students.

Adele Parkes, Kesteven and Sleaford High School

This is an invaluable resource that imaginatively explores the novel. I purchased the guide a few years ago and have found it be packed full of interesting ideas, with plenty of ready-made activities and challenging critical material included. I would highly recommend it.
