Elen Lee Lewis

Elen is a writer and English teacher at Waldegrave School in Twickenham. Following a career as a ghostwriter, when she wrote 20 books she can't talk about, she now enjoys smuggling writing tips into the classroom. Elen's poetry has been exhibited at The Story Museum, The Foundling Museum and the V&A. She won the 2024 Mslexia Short Story Award for 'It Might Be Lonelier without the Loneliness' and was shortlisted for both the Bristol and Bath Short Story Awards for 'Lightning Girl' and 'Table for Three'. Her books include YA novel, Other Me, as well as Great Ikea and The Resourceful Mum’s Handbook. Elen studied English at Oxford University and worked as a journalist in her early career.
