Oliver Souza-Faria

Oliver has worked at a large secondary school in Birmingham since 2018, and is currently second in department with oversight over Year 9 and Key Stage 5. He is particularly passionate about enabling students to have access to an inclusive and diverse English curriculum throughout their secondary education. He is interested in exploring creative and dialogic approaches that empower staff to move away from formulaic approaches to students’ writing and the narrowing of the secondary English curriculum.
