The English and Media Centre is recruiting workshop leaders to deliver half day or full day sessions to students on the Goldsmiths Secondary Media PGCE in the academic year 2026/27.
Applicants need to be available on Fridays and be able to travel to EMC’s offices in Waterloo, South London, to deliver sessions face-to-face. Most workshops would take place in the second half of the autumn term, with a maximum number of 8 half days (or 4 full days).
If you are an experienced Media Studies or Film Studies teacher, who has previously worked with new or beginning teachers and you’d like to gain some experience leading training sessions in line with the ITTECF, with a specific film or media focus, we are interested in hearing from you.
Please send a CV, brief covering letter and 2 different outlines for potential workshops you would like to deliver (up to 300 words each) to [email protected] by Monday 17th August. We will contact successful applicants in the week commencing 24th August.
You will be paid a consultancy fee of £400 for a full day workshop, including preparation, and £250 for a half day.
